Waveny Angus Farm
Purebred Black Angus Cattle
About Us
Chase Family
The farm north-east of Vermilion was established by Bill and Hilda Cross in 1929 and farmed until they handed it over to their daughter and son-in-law Pat and Dave Chase in 1964. Michael took over the farm in 1983 and married his wife Hazel Gilbert in 1989. They continue to farm and raised their four children Pamela, Mark, Amy, and Justin.
Farm History
We have been raising Black Angus ever since the founding in 1929 and have worked to improve and perfect our cattle to continue to raise the best cattle. Over the years we have participated in many different purebred shows and sales such as the Denver Stock Show, Farmfair, Agribition, Pride of the Prairies, Proud 2 B and more but now tend to focus on going to a couple select sales and selling bulls by private treaty.
2017 World Angus Forum
Mike and Hazel attended the World Angus Forum in Scottland.
